Community Physio are experienced in working with patients with all types of Orthopaedic conditions, both pre-and post-operations.
Orthopaedic surgery is the branch of surgery which involves the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumours, and congenital disorders.
Before and after orthopaedic surgery, patients tend to have a limited range of physical movements and are typically in some degree of pain, discomfort and anxiety. This is where our physio expertise can make a significant difference.
In addition to treating a specific pre/post surgery body part area, we are specialists at complex case management; where a person is suffering from more than one specific issue. Often neurological issues such as anxiety, depression and/or stress add to a physical orthopaedic aliment and thus a patient may require multiple treatments, in parallel, for complete recovery.
Give us a call, if you are planning to undergo an orthopaedic operation, or if you have recently had surgery.
