Good posture is so important for pain-free living. Unfortunately many of us choose to ignore best practice posture advice in favour of old posture habits.

The posture of someone is the position in which they hold their body upright against gravitational effects, while standing, sitting or lying down.

Good posture involves training your body to stand, walk, sit and lie in positions where the least strain is placed on supporting muscles and ligaments during movement or weight-bearing activities. If you can train yourself to walk, sit and lie in good posture, you will significantly reduce the painful and harmful effects on joints and muscles.

Community Physio Ltd. has over two decades of experience serving individuals with best practice advise and physiotherapy treatment, advising and treating individuals with bad posture.

Lower back pains are one of the more common types of posture inflicted issues. Such lower back pain can be demobilising and prevent the individual doing a whole range of basic activities. If left untreated, such pain can lead to depression, work-sick days and loss of income.

If you are suffering from muscle, ligament and/or joint pain and feel it could be posture related, give us a call. One call may open the door to pain-free living. The solution could be as simple as changing your pillow, mattress or office chair!
